About Extract Images
PDFs often contain valuable images — product photos, charts, diagrams, infographics, scanned images, signatures, and illustrations — embedded within the document. Extracting these images manually requires screenshots or expensive tools. PDFSpot's Extract Images tool automatically finds and extracts every image embedded in your PDF and provides them as individual downloadable image files. The extractor scans each page of the PDF and identifies all embedded image objects, extracting them at their original resolution. This means you get the images at the same quality they were embedded — not as screenshots taken at screen resolution, but as the actual image data stored in the PDF. For professional documents, this means you can extract images at print resolution (300 DPI or higher) if that is how they were embedded. Common use cases include: extracting product photos from a supplier catalogue PDF for use in your own materials; pulling charts and graphs from reports for use in presentations; saving signatures embedded in contract PDFs; extracting diagrams from technical manuals for documentation; or recovering original images from PDFs when the source files are no longer available. Images are extracted as PNG files (preserving lossless quality for diagrams and graphics) or JPG files (for photographic content). Each extracted image is provided as a separate file, named sequentially. Multiple images from a multi-page PDF are packaged in a ZIP archive for convenient download. All processing happens on secure servers and files are deleted within one hour. The original PDF is not altered during extraction.
