What format are the field values in?

Enter one field per line in the format 'field_name=value'. Example: 'FirstName=John' on one line, 'LastName=Smith' on the next.

Does it work on all PDF forms?

Accepted Answer

This tool works on standard AcroForm PDFs (the most common type). XFA forms (used by Adobe LiveCycle) are not supported.

Can I fill checkboxes?

Text field filling is supported. Checkbox and radio button selection may not work correctly with all PDFs.

Is the form flattened after filling?

No — the fields remain editable after filling. To lock the values permanently, use the Flatten Form tool after filling.
